Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $20 million for information leading to the location, recovery, and return of Robert A. “Bob”Levinson. A retired FBI special agent, Levinson went missing during a business trip to Kish Island, Iran, on March 9, 2007. Levinson had retired from the FBI in 1998 and was working as a private investigator at the time of his disappearance.
In December 2020, the U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctioned two senior Iranian officials, Mohammad Baseri and Ahmad Khazai, for their involvement in Levinson’s abduction. The United States continues to seek information on others who were involved.
