Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information on Abu ‘Abd al-Karim al-Masri, also known as Karim. Al-Masri is a veteran member of al-Qa’ida (AQ) and a senior leader of Hurras al-Din (HAD), an AQ-affiliated jihadist group. In 2018, al-Masri was a member of HAD’s shura council, the group’s senior decision-making body, and served as a mediator between HAD and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, an AQ-linked umbrella group from which HAD had broken away.
