Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information on Abdul Rahman Yasin, also known as Abdul Rahman Said Yasin and Aboud Yasin. Yasin directly assisted terrorist mastermind Ramzi Yousef in carrying out the February 1993 World Trade Center bombing in New York City.
On February 26, 1993, Yasin accompanied Yousef to the World Trade Center in a truck full of explosives, which they left in the Center’s underground parking lot. Upon detonation, the blast killed six people, wounded more than 1,000 others, and caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damages. Yasin fled the United States for Iraq to avoid capture. For his participation in the attack, Yasin was indicted on numerous charges in the United States.
Yasin was born in the United States, moved to Iraq during the 1960s, and returned to the United States in 1992. He possesses a U.S. passport. He is on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists List.
