Hebrew University Bombing

Jerusalem | July 31, 2002

On July 31, 2002, a bomb exploded in the cafeteria of Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The explosion killed nine, including five Americans, and injured 85. The attackers acted on orders from the leaders of Hamas, a Palestinian Islamic fundamentalist organization operating in the Palestinian territories.

The Rewards for Justice program is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information that brings to justice those responsible for this attack.
